3-days Trek  from Mcleodganj to Bir

Explore this fabulous adventure of three days ranging through the destinations of the Himachal. Enjoy delicious cuisines and feel the thrill of paragliding and refresh yourself in the monastery. Out and out this is a perfect trek for a traveller’s timeline.

ITINERARY

1

Day 1

Commence the first day of the trek travelling from the little village of Mcleodganj to the exotic village of Barot. It is a valley of lush green stretch gifted with an eye-catching view. Explore the amazing village compiling a blend of tradition and class; sporting housing architecture compiled of wood and modern construction. The village is also famous for its fish which is derived from the enormous fishing farms and also for angling. The village is truly a wonderful creation of Nature. You can also visit the wildlife sanctuary named- Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary, situated across the River. Stay at homes of any of the locals and enjoy delicious local cuisines and know more about the cultural norms and stories about the village.

Day 2

The village is about its eccentric beauty, exotic views, wide stretched areas of greeneries and an eye-catching panorama of mountains. Beauty at its best is experienced in this place with the naked eyes. This is a perfect spot for some excellent shots with the mountains and creating beautiful memories for a lifetime. Located at a range of six kilometres, one can reach Rajgunda- a long walk along the trail encountering a waterfall, a beautiful bridge and a water mill ascending up as stairs. The travellers would be greeted by the villagers of Rajgunda. And after a delicious meal, refreshments, and gathering enough energy we start on our way for a 3-4 hours trek of 14 km to Billing.

Day 3

We wake up early with a rush of adrenaline and excitement for the paragliding adventure. Enjoy a breathtaking array of views from above paragliding for about 20 minutes. An exotic, enchanting, lifetime adventure this is the best part of the trip for a thrill seeker and an adventurer. The paragliding session in this place will account for a splendid memory. You can also capture your flight using your action cameras. You can enjoy the bird-eye views of lush greeneries and the eye-catching Kangra Valley from above. You will reach Bir where you can enjoy a hot coffee or any of your favourite drinks at the many cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The last visit to the Nyngma and Sherabling monastery will make for a perfect ending to the trek.
