2-days Trek to Prashar Lake

Who doesn’t love a little bit of snow? Well if you love snow and are looking for a perfect place to trek, this is just in your trek. Get to experience some beautiful snow covered mountains. Said to have been discovered by the Pandavas, the Prashar lake is located approximately 9000 feet above the sea level. Although the trek is only 9 km long, it will not be an easy task as snow will get in your way. On your way up you will get to experience some beautiful forests and don’t feel bad if all the rivulets are frozen because of the temperature. The views will still be stunning.

After you reach your destination, you will get to visit the pagoda-style temple. You are now free to enjoy the rest of the day having as much fun as you can have by making snowmen, playing throw balls with snow or just enjoy the beautiful view. And at night enjoy a nice dinner around the campfire. When you wake up bright and early the next day, you will get to a sunrise so beautiful, you will keep it with you for the rest of your life. After that, it will be time for the journey back down the mountain to Panarsa. Just remember to bring some warm clothes if you want to survive this cold weather and some good trekking shoes, so that you can tackle the snow.
